Perforated plate signet

280

As a craftsman and engineer, I have always been fascinated by the industrial aesthetics of steel construction of the early 1900s. When I walk around Paris, especially in the metro, I often notice details of metal pieces that exude for me a great sense of aesthetics and harmony, beyond their seemingly purely functional design. I pay tribute to them here with this signet ring directly inspired by the detail of a railway bridge located in the northern suburbs of Paris.

Like all of my other creations, I make this signet ring by hand in my Parisian workshop. This model is made by hand directly from silver sheets, cut, perforated, forged and soldered together.
